Job Description
LK Jordan is hiring for one of our clients in the Galleria area. We are seeking Real Estate & Facilities Specialist to manage a Multi-Site Portfolio.
Compensation: $29 – $32/hour (approx. $60,000 – $65,000 annually)
Position Type: Long-term Contract | Full-Time Hours
Position Summary
The Real Estate & Facilities Specialist supports a large, multi-site commercial portfolio by managing work orders, coordinating with landlords and vendors, and driving issues through to completion.
This is a long-term contract role supporting ongoing operations across an active portfolio. The role requires strong organization, consistent follow-through, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do
- Manage incoming work orders from branches and track through completion
- Determine Landlord vs. Tenant responsibility with guidance as needed
- Coordinate with landlords on repairs and follow up until resolved
- Obtain and review 2–3 bids for tenant-responsible work
- Ensure required documentation is in place (SCA, COI, W-9) prior to work
- Track and maintain HVAC and janitorial service contracts, ensuring agreements remain current and compliant
- Maintain organized records, notes, and documentation in internal systems
- Communicate clearly with Branch Managers, vendors, and internal teams
- Escalate issues as needed to keep work moving
What This Role Requires
- Experience in facilities, property management, or related field
- Strong organization and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Experience with vendor coordination, service contracts, or maintenance operations preferred
- Clear, professional communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
