Order Selector/ Wire Room Helper

Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Order Selector to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing orders for shipment, ensuring that all products are handled with care and efficiency. You will also assist in the Wire Room to cut electrical wiring according to order specifications.The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess a strong commitment to quality and safety. Schedule is Monday- Friday from 8am-5pm and pay rate is $19 an hour.
Duties:

Accurately pick orders based on customer requests and packing slips.

Utilize warehouse equipment, such as RF scanners, forklifts or pallet jacks, to transport items safely.

Ensure all items are properly labeled and packaged before shipment.

Conduct regular inventory checks to maintain stock accuracy.

Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals.

Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.

Report any discrepancies or damaged items to the supervisor promptly.
Qualifications:

Must have previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role

Must be good with measurements and math.

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.

Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely (training will be provided).

Good physical stamina; must be able to stand for long periods and lift items up to 50 pounds.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.

Basic computer skills for inventory management systems are a plus.
