Warehouse Furniture & Event Setup Associate (Must have valid DL)
Position Overview:
L.K. Jordan and Associates is actively hiring dependable, hardworking individuals for Warehouse Furniture & Event Setup roles in the Austin area. This is a high-demand, hands-on position supporting warehouse operations and event preparation.
This role is physically demanding and requires consistent heavy lifting of large furniture items. Candidates must be comfortable working with heavy rental furniture of all shapes and sizes and using equipment such as dollies to safely move items.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and stage furniture and rental items for upcoming events
- Load and unload trucks with heavy furniture and décor
- Move inventory using dollies and proper lifting techniques
- Assist with event setup and breakdown at venues
- Maintain cleanliness and condition of inventory (sofas, tables, shelving, rugs, chairs, décor)
- Pick and organize orders accurately
- Use inventory systems to track items
- Communicate professionally with team members and clients
- Follow all safety procedures
Physical Requirements:
- Lift, carry, push, and pull 50+ lbs regularly
- Perform heavy, repetitive lifting throughout shifts
- Experience using a dolly (preferred) or willingness to learn
- Stand, walk, bend for extended periods (8+ hours)
Schedule:
- Full-time positions available
- Early mornings, late nights, weekends required
- Shifts may start as early as 6:00 AM or end as late as 3:00 AM
Compensation:
- $18 per hour
Growth Opportunity:
High-performing employees may be considered for advancement into Delivery Driver roles with training provided. Start at $20hr
