Warehouse Delivery Associate
Austin, TX 78751
Mondays - Saturdays (off on Sundays and one additional day off during the week)
8AM to 4PM
Generally, expected to work as a valued member of the shipping and receiving operations. This job will primarily consist of local vehicle operations involving positioning and moving trucks between the warehouse and the Stores. On occasions, the deliveries will be required throughout the greater Central Texas Hill Country area. Operations of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) is also required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Operate company owned and leased trucks to facilitate shipping and receiving operations.
Operate trucks for the delivery, pickup and relocation of products and materials for the retail and wholesale divisions.
Perform required before, during, and after operations user maintenance and provide required reports.
Provide outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations.
Operate all MHE
Maintain all required certifications required by DOT and OSHA and company safety programs.
Maintain and protect all property entrusted to you in excellent condition
Perform any other tasks assigned to support and improve the overall team operations
Wearing the proper safety equipment.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Training
Ability to operate and maintain equipment in a safe manner at all times
CDL required within six months of assignment to position
1 or more years experience as Truck Driver
Must be able to learn to operate all MHE used by the company
Requires prolonged sitting, driving, and MHE operations
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Repeatedly
Must be able to work in severe weather conditions; both heat and cold.
