WILL NEED TO RUN MVR FOR DELIVERING PARTS IN VAN OR 20FT BOX TRUCK: NO ACCIDENTS AND NO MORE THAN 2 MOVING VIOLATIONS
We have an exciting opportunity for the right individual. The Warehouse associate receives all incoming freight, checks shipment against packing slip(s), documents packing slip per company policy, logs/receives freight into the warehouse data system, stocks inventory in the appropriate locations, fills orders by identifying item(s) requested, pulls item(s) from stock inventory, packs & labels item(s) per company policy, notes back orders, verifies completeness, process transfer orders and prepare for shipment per company policy, update transfer order status in warehouse data system per company policy, maintain safe & clean working environment per company policy, make sure all inventory put away is performed within 24 hours of being received, make appropriate entries into driver and vehicle inspection documents when operating company delivery vehicles, make deliveries as required, process delivery manifest(s) per company policy, report any client problems or concerns immediately to supervisor, perform corporate and or field level min/max replenishment programs, utilize all necessary equipment tools etc. To perform min/max replenishment, perform walk through on all areas (items) that fall under company responsibility, communicate with all client personnel (tool crib attendant, store room attendant etc ) on any additional needs or concerns, process replenishment quotes/orders as required by company policy, and communicate any product/quantity changes that need to be implemented to manage clients demand.
Minimum Education High School Diploma
Minimum Experience One year and or experience: DRIVING AND FORKLIFT/WAREHOUSE
Preferred Education/Experience Two years of training and or experience
Detail oriented and confident working with data, numbers, other business information
Ability to work independently and prioritize projects
Strong multitasking skills in an environment with frequent deadlines
Computer literate (PC).
Operate standard office equipment.
Proficient in PC based Microsoft Office, especially with Microsoft Excel, Prelude/ADS helpful
Accurate alphabetical, alphanumeric, and numerical filing
Work effectively under pressure.
Skilled in both written and oral communications.
Forklift operation experience helpful
Problem solving skills
Good time management and task management skills
Ability to communicate professionally with internal and external customers
Tools and Equipment Used:
Computers, telephone, facsimile, scanner, and other related office equipment.
Hand truck, Flatbed, box cutter, and other general warehouse tools.
The position requires the ability to sit, stand, walk, climb, exercise hand and finger dexterity, visual focus, and articulate clearly using speech. Applicant must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
The work environment is primarily in a warehouse setting. The noise level can vary from quiet to moderate depending upon circumstances at any given time. Temperature could vary based on seasons. Might need to work outside of the warehouse for loading, unloading or deliveries and therefore subject to temperature changes and various weather conditions.
Regular attendance is essential to the success of this position.
