Job Description

Vessel Designer
Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Perform drafting and design in fabrication shop environment
Generate piping isometric drawings (need to have good understanding of ANSI B31.3)
Implement customer specifications and design guidelines
Produce design drawings of structural skids, platforms and handrails
Produce bill of materials list
Create code calculations and detailed vessel drawings

Requirements

Five plus years of designing and drafting pressure vessels
custom fabrication and structural design experience
Proficient in use of AutoCAD software and use of Code Ware COMPRESS vessel design software
Experience with ProNest software and sheet metal software
Knowledge of ASME - Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code
Knowledge of Structural Welding Code
Knowledge of PIP Structural Design
Experience with fabrication shop equipment
Be able to work weekends and overtime as needed

$40 - $45 per hour, DOE
