Job Description
Pay: From $18.00 - $20 D.O.E
Duties
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on fleet vehicles, including trucks, cranes, and other heavy equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics and technical manuals to ensure accurate repairs.
• Conduct inspections of air brake systems, shocks, struts, and other critical components to maintain safety standards.
• Utilize hand tools and diagnostic equipment effectively for repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems and implement effective solutions.
• Maintain detailed records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and parts inventory.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies while performing all tasks.
• Maintain grounds, including mowing and picking up loose trash.
• They should have their own basic hand tools.
• Clean and pressure wash trucks and bins.
• Delivery and pick up bins.
• Be able to learn and have a good attitude.
Requirements
• Proficient in vehicle maintenance techniques and equipment repair practices.
• Strong understanding of schematics related to automotive systems.
• Experience with air brake systems is highly desirable.
• Ability to work with hand tools effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems including shocks, struts, and crane operations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively within a team setting.
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must pass background check and UA drug screen.
