Title: Utility Worker / Blaster

Summary:
Responsible for repair, install, adjust, or maintain industrial production and processing machinery. Perform duties, such as furnishing tools, materials, and supplies to other workers; cleaning work areas, clean shop, machines, and tools; and holding materials or tools for other workers, receive, store, and issue materials, equipment, and other items for stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard.

Key Job Responsibilities:
Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items, manually or using hoists.
Count finished produces to determine if product order is complete.
Load and unload items from machines, conveyors, and conveyances.
Help production workers by performing duties of lesser skill, such as supplying or holding materials or tools, and cleaning work areas and equipment.
Responsible for building maintenance.
Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouse, or storage yards.
Sand blast equipment and parts as needed.
Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors.
Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouse, tool rooms, supply rooms, supply rooms, or other areas.
Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment.
Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Determine proper storage methods, identification, and stock location based on turnover, environmental factors, and physical capabilities of facilities.
Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damaged to supervisors.
Provide assistance or direction to other stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard workers.
Actively participate in the safety program.
Drive forklifts safety in order to maneuver parts or equipment as needed.
Operate overhead and jib cranes safely to maneuver parts or equipment as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.\

Required Education:
High school diploma or equivalent with one or more years related experience and/or training.

Required Experience:
The incumbent should have one or more years of experience in a rotating equipment or manufacturing environment.
