Job Description


LK Jordan is currently seeking a Social &Traditional Media Coordinator in the downtown area. Responsibilities include creating and executing digital and traditional media strategies to ensure consistent brand messaging across all platforms. This role includes content creation for social media, managing press releases, coordinating with media outlets, and tracking campaign performance to optimize engagement with target audiences. Pay rate is $24.10 hourly.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement social media strategies across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn).

  • Create engaging content (text, images, videos) tailored to each platform.

  • Schedule and publish content according to a content calendar.

  • Monitor social media conversations and respond to comments promptly.

  • Analyze social media performance and optimize engagement.

  • Run social media campaigns and contests to increase engagement.

  • Draft and distribute press releases to media outlets.

  • Build relationships with journalists and pitch story ideas.

  • Coordinate media interviews and appearances for executives.

  • Ensure brand consistency across all communication channels.

  • Execute integrated marketing campaigns combining social and traditional media.

  • Track campaign performance using key metrics (impressions, reach, engagement).

  • Generate reports on social media and media coverage.

  • Participate in TIC and diversity initiatives.

  • Collaborate with data governance teams for data-driven decision-making.

 

Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.

  • At least two (2) years of experience in social media analytics and reporting.

  • Successful completion of a criminal background check, education and work history verification, and drug screening.

  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
