Journeyman Plumber
Job Description
Skilled Journeyman Plumber for commercial construction industry. This position requires comprehensive knowledge of plumbing systems, construction plumbing techniques, and mechanical systems.
Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in commercial properties and commercial new construction.

Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and construction plans to ensure precise execution of plumbing layouts.

Utilize hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques to assemble piping systems.

Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues related to leaks, blockages, or mechanical failures.

Collaborate with construction teams, electricians, HVAC technicians and Project Managers.

Maintain safety standards by adhering to OSHA regulations and company safety protocols during all field operations.

Assist in remodeling projects or maintenance tasks that require handyman skills such as carpentry or basic mechanical repairs.

Keep detailed records of work performed, materials used, and compliance with project specifications.
Qualifications

Proven experience as a Journeyman Plumber with a valid license or certification.

Extensive knowledge of construction plumbing practices and pipe installation techniques.

Familiarity with HVAC systems, mechanical knowledge related to plumbing fixtures, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations.

Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, heavy lifting equipment, and construction site safety procedures.

Ability to read technical diagrams / schematics related to plumbing or HVAC systems.

Valid DL

Pass background check and UA drug screen.
Starting pay between $26 - $39 per hour, depending on experience
