Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Sign Installer to join our team. This position is responsible for installing a variety of interior and exterior signs, graphics, and related products at customer locations. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, comfortable working with hand and power tools, and able to provide professional customer service while representing the company in the field.
Primary Responsibilities

Install interior and exterior signs, vinyl graphics, dimensional letters, banners, window graphics, and other signage products.

Read and interpret work orders, drawings, and installation instructions to ensure accurate placement.

Measure, level, and align signage for a professional finished appearance.

Safely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, and other installation equipment.

Load, transport, and unload signage and materials to and from job sites.

Perform site surveys and verify measurements when needed.

Troubleshoot minor installation issues and make adjustments in the field.

Ensure all installations meet company quality standards and customer expectations.

Maintain a clean, organized company vehicle and work area.

Follow all company safety policies and OSHA guidelines.

Communicate professionally with customers and team members throughout the installation process.

Assist in the production shop when installation schedules allow.
Qualifications
-
Previous sign installation, construction, carpentry, or similar hands-on experience preferred.

Comfortable using hand and power tools.

Ability to read a tape measure accurately.

Mechanically inclined with strong attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred.

Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.

Comfortable working on ladders and occasionally at elevated heights.

Reliable transportation and excellent attendance.
Preferred Experience
-
Experience installing vinyl graphics, channel letters, dimensional letters, monument signs, or pylon signs.

Experience operating lifts or bucket trucks (if applicable).

Basic electrical knowledge for illuminated signage is a plus but not required.
Work Environment
-
Combination of indoor shop work and outdoor job sites.

Work performed in varying weather conditions.

Occasional overtime or early morning starts may be required depending on project schedules.
