JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for aspects of the Human Resources Department and providing analytical support as well as participating in collaborative discussions with management regarding general area of Human Resources

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Handle HR related activities and inquiries
  • Responsible for various HR activities but not limited to processing payroll, payroll reconciliation, benefits, recruitment/termination, new hire orientation, training and development, policy implementation and employee relations
  • Assist with development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
  • Facilitate new approaches, policies and procedures to affect continual improvements
  • Conduct hiring process & on-boarding process: job postings, pre-screening resumes, performing interviews, background/reference check, drug screening and preparing offer letters
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations such as FMLA, FLSA, ADA, EEO, etc.
  • Guide and advise employees on HR related policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite such as Powerpoint, Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Familiarity with Human Resources Information System (HRIS)
  • Broad understanding of consultation, ethical practice, global & cultural awareness
  • Ability to work as a team
  • Skills in relationship management
  • Ability to travel frequently
  • Ability to adapt in an environment with constantly shifting priorities
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple and simultaneous at times, competing deliverables
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt quickly to change
  • Ability to influence and gain commitment and trust from senior level executives
  • Ability to comprehend and assimilate complex business processes
  • Strong critical and analytical thinking, problem solving and innovation skills
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills as well as skills in facilitation including senior level audiences

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor s degree in HR, Business Administration or related field
  • 3-7 years HR experience
  • Bilingual in English & Korean
  • Legally allowed to work in the US
  • ADP and SAP experience a plus
