We are seeking an experienced Senior Developer to join our team and take ownership of the OnBase platform. This role involves developing complex code, maintaining and improving codebase quality, and contributing to software architecture and design. The ideal candidate will act as a thought leader and trusted advisor, driving innovation and ensuring the highest standards of performance, security, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain complex code based on functional specifications and standards.
- Enhance codebase, data design, and best practices, focusing on performance, security, and quality.
- Contribute to software architecture, creating implementation standards and guidelines.
- Perform detailed review and analysis, understanding the broader impact of software changes.
- Lead as a thought leader in OnBase programs, sharing knowledge, influencing architectural design, and coaching on best practices.
- Articulate the business value and impact of software changes to stakeholders, contributing to prioritization.
- Design and lead the implementation of delivery pipelines, including test automation, security, and performance.
- Develop standards to ensure compliance with product and industry regulations.
- Author, review, and implement requirements and design documents.
- Mentor and provide feedback to end users, and address complex production or code issues.
- Drive overall growth and quality in the department through knowledge sharing and coaching.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent required. Preferred degrees include BE/B.Tech, ME/M.Tech, MCA, BCA, M.Sc. in CS/IT, or B.Sc. in CS/IT.
- 3-5 years of experience in software development and continuous software delivery.
- Mastery of one or more programming languages, including C#.
- Familiarity with Dot Net framework and/or Dot Net Core.
- Significant experience in complex systems analysis, design, and development.
- Proficiency in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
- Experience with Accounts Payable processes.
- Experience working in Windows/Linux environments with open-source tools.
- Proven experience with build environments, continuous integration tools, and delivery pipelines.
- Expertise in unit testing tools and methodologies.
- Strong guidance and support skills for end-user development.
- Troubleshooting experience and effective communication with customers.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with a professional demeanor and executive presence.
- Strong collaboration skills within teams and across departments.
- Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated with the ability to independently manage projects to completion.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with REST/SOAP API development and integration.
- Experience with test automation.
