In this key position, you’ll take ownership of day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring our financial systems run with precision and efficiency. What You'll Do:
Financial Reporting Excellence: Create precise and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Perform in-depth account reconciliations to maintain the integrity of our financial data.
Own the Close Process: Lead and manage the monthly close process, ensuring all journal entries and reconciliations (prepaids, accruals, sales, and inventory) are accurate and timely.
Lead Transformational Projects: Spearhead accounting projects that improve processes and drive efficiency in financial reporting.
Sales and Inventory Expertise: Oversee sales and inventory accounting, ensuring accurate revenue recognition, inventory valuation, and compliance with industry standards.
Champion Compliance & Controls: Ensure we meet regulatory requirements and maintain strong internal controls over financial reporting and processes.
Collaborate Across Departments: Be a trusted accounting partner to various teams, providing insights, supporting budgeting efforts, and assisting in financial analysis.
Drive Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement improvements in our accounting systems, making our processes more streamlined and effective.
What You’ll Bring:
Education & Certification: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA certification is a plus but not required.
Experience: 3-7 years of experience in accounting with a solid background in financial reporting, month-end close processes, and general ledger management.
Tech-Savvy: Proficient with accounting software and eager to learn and adapt to new technologies.
Project Leadership: Proven ability to lead projects and improve accounting processes.
Sales & Inventory Expertise: Strong knowledge of sales and inventory accounting practices.
Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities, with the capacity to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Team Player: A strong communicator with exceptional interpersonal skills, you thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
