Job Description
Position: Sales Assistant
Location: San Antonio & South Austin
Compensation: $47,500 (Plus Commission)
Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Lead Prospecting and Appointment Setting
Drive weekly rental sales growth by managing the prospecting process and securing qualified first-time appointments for the Sales Representatives. Responsibilities include:
-
Researching new prospects using tools like online databases, internet searches, trade publications, and networking opportunities
-
Cold calling businesses in person and over the phone to gather information and set appointments
-
Qualifying prospects based on pre-defined selling criteria
-
Analyzing potential leads to identify high-value sales opportunities
-
Creating and presenting compelling opening statements ("grabbers") to generate interest
-
Handling objections and overcoming gatekeepers
-
Creating and managing proof artwork (e.g., logo/emblem mat designs)
-
Preparing first-time meeting folders with relevant research and documentation
-
Communicating appointment details to Sales Representatives and confirming with prospects
-

Salesforce CRM Management
Ensure timely and accurate data entry and updates in Salesforce, including:
-
Prospect, contact, account, and opportunity details
-
Notes from research, cold calls, and qualification efforts
-
Scheduling and calendar management
-

Employee Uniform Sizing
Accurately measure employees using standardized sizing kits.

Field Work and Travel
Safely operate a personal vehicle for cold calls, appointments, and uniform fittings.

Professional Representation
Maintain a professional company image through effective sales techniques, marketing efforts, and customer service.

Team Participation
Attend company, department, and team meetings as required.

Workplace Standards
Follow all safety, health, and housekeeping guidelines.

Additional Duties
Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the Department Manager.
Job Requirements:

Reliable personal vehicle with valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and current insurance

Strong prospecting skills including research, qualification, needs assessment, presentation, objection handling, and negotiation

Effective verbal and written communication skills in English

Strong time and territory management abilities
-
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Salesforce
-
Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills
-
Self-motivated and goal-driven
-
Honest, respectful, and maintains professionalism at all times
