SMT Operator
This is a hands-on role focused on running SMT equipment and ensuring high-quality production.
Location: North Austin (Cameron/Dessau area)
Shift: 2nd Shift | 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Pay: $22/hour
Type: Temp-to-Hire
Responsibilities:
Set up, operate, and maintain SMT machines
Read and interpret build documents, drawings, and BOMs
Perform manual component placement as needed
Maintain production quality and follow procedures
Meet production deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Requirements:
2+ years of SMT operating experience
Familiar with IPC-A-610 standards
Ability to identify and place electronic components with blueprints/schematics
Basic computer skills
Reliable with strong attention to detail
