SERVICE COORDINATOR / DISPATCHER – ELECTRONIC SECURITY & LOW VOLTAGE
Location: San Antonio, TX
Schedule: Monday–Friday, Day Shift
Job Type: Full-Time, In-Person
We are seeking an experienced Service Coordinator / Dispatcher to support a commercial electronic security and low-voltage service department. This position coordinates customer service requests, field technicians, scheduling, service tickets, and follow-up to ensure calls are handled efficiently and completed on time. RESPONSIBILITIES:

Receive and manage incoming customer service requests

Create, update, and manage service tickets

Schedule and dispatch field service technicians

Coordinate service appointments with commercial customers

Prioritize calls based on urgency, location, technician availability, and required skills

Maintain daily and weekly technician schedules

Communicate schedule changes and service updates to customers and technicians
-
Monitor open service tickets and follow up on outstanding calls

Review completed tickets for accurate notes, labor, equipment, and resolution details

Coordinate return visits, parts, warranty issues, and additional service needs

Maintain accurate customer and service records Service Coordinator - Dispatcher
REQUIREMENTS:

Previous service coordination, field service dispatching, or scheduling experience

Experience coordinating or dispatching field service technicians highly preferred

Strong organizational and multitasking skills

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Strong attention to detail and follow-through

Ability to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Strong computer and data-entry skills
-
Microsoft Word, Excel, and email experience

High school diploma or equivalent
-
Electronic security or low-voltage experience is a plus
-
Experience within HVAC, electrical, construction, telecommunications, or another field-service environment will also be considered Service Coordinator - Dispatcher
IMPORTANT: This is not a trucking or transportation dispatcher position. This role supports field technicians servicing commercial electronic security, fire alarm, access control, video surveillance, and other low-voltage systems.
