LK Jordan is currently seeking a Quality Specialist III for a leading industrial client in the Houston area. This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality control systems to support the continuous production of advanced composite materials and applications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in quality systems, ISO compliance, internal auditing, and continuous improvement initiatives within a manufacturing environment.

Position Summary
The Quality Specialist III develops, implements, and maintains quality control systems designed to ensure continuous production of advanced composite materials and applications in accordance with established standards, customer specifications, and production goals. This role plays a key part in supporting product integrity, quality compliance, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform inspection and testing activities to ensure high productivity and technical integrity
  • Develop and analyze statistical data and product specifications to establish quality standards and reliability expectations
  • Provide technical and statistical expertise to internal teams
  • Create, document, implement, and maintain quality control standards and procedures
  • Support and maintain ISO compliance, including internal audits and certification requirements
  • Identify and report production deficiencies and recommend process improvements to management
  • Partner with production and plant leadership to align quality objectives with operational procedures
  • Develop and implement inspection criteria and quality procedures across production cycles
  • Apply total quality management tools to support reporting, analysis, and process improvement
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and internal quality teams
  • Design and implement quality control training programs for internal staff
  • Maintain compliance with all safety standards, PPE requirements, and company policies
  • Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, suppliers, and internal teams
  • Travel as needed within and outside the continental U.S.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of quality-related experience required
  • Experience with ISO standards, internal auditing, and quality systems management required
  • Strong knowledge of statistical analysis, inspection methods, and quality reporting
  • Experience creating and implementing quality control procedures and documentation
  • Ability to identify process improvements and support corrective action initiatives
  • Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Must be able to work all shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed
  • Must be able to travel as required
  • Preferred knowledge of the power generation or turbine industry
