Job Description

Quality Manager

Responsibilities include but no limited to:

Plans and directs development, application and maintenance of quality standards for processes, materials, and products of steel processing
Management representative for the ISO 9001 quality system and technical consultant for sales
Schedule and prepare annual ISO 9001 audits and make corrections
Maintain ISO 9001 system, create and update policies, procedures and work instructions
Provide technical support

Qualifications / Experience / Education Requirements:

Three to five years of related Quality Assurance experience or combination of Education and Experience
Min of two years ISO 9001 experience
Min of two years steel service experience preferred
Engineering degree is a plus
Experience in automotive industry is a plus
FMEZ experience preferred and CQE or CMQ preferred
Proficient knowledge of ISO 9001, quality assurance, OSHA, safety
Knowledge and experience of inspection methods, techniques and ability to make judgments to meet deadlines
Proficient organizational skills
Understanding of properties of carbon steel and applications
Experience working with high performance sales teams
Proficient mathematical ability to provide technical support
Computer literacy - knowledge of quality / ISO software
Pass drug screen and background check

$38 - $45 per hour, depending on experience
