QC Inspector

Location: Houston, TX
Shift: 1st Shift | 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM



Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced QC Inspector to join our team on 1st shift. This role is responsible for inspecting parts and assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience using precision measuring tools, performing inspections, and supporting production through deburring, cleaning, and assembly tasks.
Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect machined parts and assemblies to verify compliance with blueprints, specifications, and quality standards

  • Use quality inspection instruments such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and other measuring tools accurately

  • Perform dimensional and visual inspections on parts throughout the production process

  • Assist with deburring and cleaning parts as needed

  • Support part assembly and inspection activities

  • Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records

  • Perform basic math calculations related to measurements, tolerances, and inspection results

  • Help identify non-conforming parts and communicate issues to production or management

  • Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area

  • Utilize basic computer skills for data entry, reporting, and Microsoft Office tasks
Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a QC Inspector in a manufacturing or machining environment preferred

  • Ability to read and use quality inspection instruments, including:

    • Micrometers

    • Calipers

    • Height gauges

    • Other standard inspection tools

  • Experience with deburring and cleaning parts

  • Experience with part assembly and inspection

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to perform basic math calculations

  • Good organizational and time management skills

  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Skills

  • Experience inspecting machined components to tight tolerances

  • Familiarity with manufacturing quality standards and inspection documentation

  • Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings is a plus
