QA Inspector
Job Description
QC Inspector for established industrial business
-
Quality inspection to include structural, piping, machining and forming.
-
Review of NDE (RT,UT,MT,PT)
-
Inspection of welds assuring meets drawings, codes and procedures in place, to include dimensional revisions.
-
Verify traceability of mill test reports
-
Observe and documentation on hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure testing
-
Code documentation
To be considered, the following are required:
-
Experience and ability to read fabrication drawings
-
Experience with inspection tools
-
ASME - working knowledge
-
Experience with hydrostatic and pneumatic testing
-
API 510 / API 653 Certification
-
ASNT Level II in NDE methods
-
High School Diploma
-
Certified Welding Inspector
-
Must be able to work in all weather conditions
-
Ability to be on your feet for extended time as well as ability to bend, kneel and climb ladders and scaffold.
-
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
-
Pass background check and drug screen
-
Have reliable transportation
-
Able to work overtime and weekends as needed
Great opportunity with benefits available after permanent hire.
Starting pay between $25-$35.00 an hour, depending on experience.
