Administrative Purchase Assistant needed in Round Rock, TX!
Provide general purchasing support for the organization. The occupant of this position reports to Purchasing Manager and is expected to adhere to all organizational policies and procedures. The occupant is required to maintain all skills and knowledge essential for successful job performance.
Requisition and manage supplies of raw materials, parts, office and general supplies and services for the organization. Process purchases from inventory reorders in a timely manner. Confer with vendors to obtain product or service information, such as price, availability, and delivery schedule. Estimate values based upon knowledge of market price. Verify, schedule, and track customer parts for outside vendor services. Maintain computerized procurement records, such as items or services, cost comparison, delivery, product quality or performance, and inventories. Execute special projects and other duties as needed.
- Associate s Degree from accredited university or equivalent experience preferred.
- 0 4 years of prior purchasing experience.
- 1 4 years of admin experience
- Education can replace experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
Work independently and utilize good judgment.
Ability to recognize and ensure confidentiality is maintained in regards to business knowledge and personnel issues.
Demonstrate positive and proactive attitudes, practices and behaviors to ensure teamwork and organizational goal attainment.
