Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–5:30 PM

Responsibilities
- Assist customers through incoming calls, emails, and walk-in visits
- Identify customer equipment, parts, and supply needs
- Prepare accurate quotes and process customer orders
- Enter and manage sales orders and purchase orders in QuickBooks
- Check inventory and confirm product availability
- Source products from vendors when items are not currently in stock
- Obtain vendor pricing and place purchase orders
- Track orders from initial request through final delivery and invoicing
- Provide customers with proactive updates regarding pricing, availability, and delivery timelines
- Maintain accurate customer, order, purchasing, and inventory records
- Resolve order issues and respond to customer questions professionally
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and vendors
- Identify opportunities to recommend additional products and services
- Ensure customer satisfaction through consistent follow-up and communication
- Previous experience in purchasing, inside sales, counter sales, customer service, or order management
- Oil & Gas, industrial equipment, parts, or supply experience strongly preferred
- Experience managing orders from quote through invoice
- Knowledge of sales orders, purchase orders, product sourcing, and vendor coordination
- QuickBooks experience preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer systems
- Ability to manage multiple customer requests and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
- Dependable, proactive, and team-oriented
- Reliable transportation to the Katy area
- Competitive pay of $20.00–$25.00 per hour, depending on experience
