Summary
The Pump Mechanic will troubleshoot disassemble inspect repair and fabricate a variety of rotating equipment including centrifugal gear diaphragm and reciprocating pumps gear reducers blowers mechanical seals and related components. This role requires hands on mechanical experience working with rotating equipment in a shop environment.
Responsibilities
• Repair fabricate install and remove centrifugal pumps and related rotating equipment
• Disassemble inspect and diagnose issues on single stage and multi stage centrifugal pumps
• Repair gear pumps reciprocating pumps metering pumps and gear reducers
• Work on blowers including vacuum and pressure units
• Inspect and replace mechanical seals bearings shafts and related components
• Ensure all equipment meets quality and performance standards before release
Qualifications
• Experience working with rotating equipment required
• Pump knowledge strongly preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to pass background check physical and drug test
• High School Diploma or GED required
Additional Information
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• AC and heated shop environment
• Shift 6 am to 6 pm
• No travel required
