Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead retail and industrial construction projects in the Austin market. The Project Manager will oversee all phases of construction from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
This role requires strong leadership, client-facing communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage full project lifecycle from preconstruction to final completion
Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar tools
Oversee budgeting, cost control, forecasting, and change order management
Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field teams
Conduct project meetings with owners, architects, and engineers
Review and negotiate subcontract agreements
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company safety standards
Monitor quality control and maintain project documentation
Manage RFIs, submittals, and contract administration
Maintain strong client relationships and identify opportunities for repeat business
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
5+ years of experience managing ground-up retail and/or industrial projects
Experience with tilt-wall, warehouse, distribution centers, big-box retail, or tenant improvements preferred
Strong knowledge of construction contracts, scheduling, and budgeting
Proficient in Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar software
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to manage multiple projects ranging from $5M–$25M+
Preferred Experience
Experience in the Austin/Central Texas construction market
Established relationships with local subcontractors and vendors
OSHA 30 certification
Design-build experience

Competitive base salary (commensurate with experience) $110-$140K
