Job Description
- Providing analytical insight on the schedule & cost to provide proactive decision-making criteria.
- Providing technical support to Project control Department.
- Attending a meeting for planning Time / cost/ budget and project control status review.
- Working closely with the quantities surveyor to validate contractor invoices.
- Ensuring alignment between the project budget and schedule.
- Oversight of the Construction /Installation of all phases at field and control/ monitor project schedule and scope.
- Evaluate construction manpower/ Equipment histogram and verify and provide feedback for project goal, productivities, completion of project and Overall quality.
- Proactively Provide input to the team on constructability analysis, construction scope and activities sequencing during providing detail level of project scheduling.
- Responsible for communicating any schedule issues and proposing proper corrective action.
- Overseeing and assure Project material, equipment and manpower are available or will be delivered in timely manner.
- Knowing the specification, standard, methodology, scope of work, work packages, design criteria and other technical aspect of His/her assignment.
- Making sure that all Change Orders have been implemented and contactor s plan adjusted by time and cost impact.
- Analysis Risk and opportunity.
- Maintain detailed knowledge of contractor / Vendor contractual scope of work, Time schedule and change orders.
- Review the contractor daily / weekly report and make sure that their progress and cost forecasting are matched with project projection.
Skills/ Knowledge required:
- Bachelor s degree in Engineering.
- Previous experience in O&G Major capital project. (5-7 years of relevant construction experience).
- Ability to read and understand Standard, Design criteria, P&ID, Isometric and Plan and arrangement DWG, E&I documents.
- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Must have knowledge in Technical / Financial aspect of project control (Forecasting, budgeting, planning, estimating, Cost/ Time analysis) CPM scheduling and consolidating all key metrics for multiple sub project and for different stakeholders.
- Project management Knowledge.
- Experience in Planning project control area Like: Earn Value Analysis, Critical path Analysis, KPI.
- Experience in Reporting and tracking Project work effort.
- Able to work across large multidiscipline teams with different leadership styles.
- Strong organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to understand the project scope and execution plan and its relationships to WBS and work packages.
- Abilities to review, validate and challenge contractor s progress, schedule report data.
- Consistently demonstrate strong communication skills and essential capital project behavior (Focus on the work, Align and inspire, build relationship, deliver result).
- Abilities to maintain professionalism at all levels and times.
- Abilities to understand the importance of priority of work task and willingness to perform all assigned tasks.
Pay is $37/hr + DOE
This is a 1 - 1 1/2 year project.
