Develop, integrate, analyze and monitor all cost metrics for Projects up $50 Million ensuring budget and cost objectives are met.
Provide financial forecast updates, budget variance reporting, coordinate w/accounting, produce cost reports w/quality metrics and KPIs as well as understand and analyze cost risks and opportunities, predict potential impacts and pro- actively recommend cost improvement measures.
Implement, administer and maintain cost control processes to track and report project budgets, commitments, expenditures and forecasts on projects.
Understand and be able to develop Cost Break Down Structure and Work Break Down Structure; Will work closely with the project scheduler, estimator, etc.
Review, track and project contractor s labor productivity. Identify early variance trends that could impact schedule or cost performance. Identify areas for improvement.
Actively monitor and evaluate areas of high activity; recommend improvement measures as necessary.
Monitor and ensure the transfer of the correct project man-hours and cost data to/from other internal systems.
Minimum of 2 to 5 yrs exp as cost engineer/analyst in petro refinery, oil and gas or large industrial projects.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office a must and must have strong working experience with PMS systems and report writers; EcoSys Projects experience highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of cost control/reporting techniques and methods.
Bachelor' s degree in Accounting, Finance or Engineering. Will consider experience in lieu of Degree.
