Production Loaders- Day Shift
Job Description
LK Jordan is seeking Production Loaders for a busy food distributor in Boerne. Responsibilities will included keeping the packaging machines supplied with the correct product and making sure the loading area stays clean, safe, and organized. This role involves checking materials, loading product from totes or cases, and communicating with the Area Lead to keep production running smoothly. Schedule is Monday - Thursday from 7:00am-6:00pm with a 1 hour lunch and the pay rate is $15 hourly. Pay day is EVERY Friday!
Job Responsibilities:

Keep the hopper filled without overfilling, spilling, or damaging product.

Verify the correct line, product, work order, lot number, and material before loading.

Safely load product from totes and cases using approved equipment and tools.

Check containers and product for damage or contamination before use.
-
Keep partial or unused product properly labeled, covered, and separated.

Break down empty boxes and dispose of liners and waste properly.

Keep the work area, floors, platforms, tools, and equipment clean and free of hazards.

Let the Area Lead know about low materials, shortages, damaged containers, spills, or anything that could slow or stop production.

Help with changeovers by removing old materials, cleaning the area, and preparing for the next product.
Qualifications & Requirements:

Dependable, punctual, and able to follow directions.
-
Comfortable working as part of a team.
-
Able to follow safety and cleanliness guidelines.
-
Able to lift at least 25 lbs and stand for long periods of time.

Able to climb ladders/steps and work on platforms.
-
Comfortable working around machinery and using basic hand tools.
