Press Brake Operator – Metal Fabrication
North Houston, TX
LK Jordan is seeking an experienced Press Brake Operator to join a growing manufacturing team. We are looking for a skilled metal fabrication professional with hands-on experience operating press brake equipment and, ideally, additional experience with angle rollers, plate rollers, and press brake machinery.
If you have a strong fabrication background, can read blueprints, and take pride in producing high-quality work, we'd like to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate manual and/or CNC press brake machines to bend and form metal components.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
Select the appropriate tooling, dies, and punches for each job.
Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools to ensure quality and accuracy.
Make machine adjustments as needed to maintain specifications and tolerances.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
Assist with other fabrication equipment as needed.
High school diploma or GED required.
5+ years of press brake operating experience (CNC experience preferred).
Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Proficient with tape measures, calipers, and other precision measuring tools.
Solid understanding of metal fabrication, forming processes, and material characteristics.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
Experience operating angle roller machines.
Experience operating plate roller machines.
Experience with Amada, Bystronic, Trumpf, Cincinnati, or similar press brake equipment.
Forklift certification or previous forklift experience.
