General Machine Helper
Job Description
The General Machine Helper is responsible for operating a manual (non-programmed) industrial sewing machine to assemble nylon components according to specifications. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to follow measurements accurately.
Pay Rate: $14.00 hourly
Schedule: Monday - Friday from 8:00am - 5:00pm
Location: Near Frost Bank Center
Key Responsibilities:

Operate a manual industrial sewing machine to sew nylon materials

Follow work instructions, patterns, and production guidelines
-
Measure and cut materials using rulers and measuring tools

Ensure stitch quality and product consistency

Inspect finished products for defects or inaccuracies

Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
-
Ability to perform basic math, including fractions and measurements
-
Must be able to pass background and drug screen
-
Proficient in reading and using a ruler accurately

Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
-
Previous sewing or manufacturing experience preferred but not required

Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
