Job Description
LK Jordan & Associates is recruiting on behalf of a valued client for an experienced Industrial Assembly Technician to join a growing manufacturing team. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with experience assembling rotating equipment and industrial components in a shop environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble skid units and industrial equipment, including pumps to motors, flanged piping, and screw piping.
Interpret assembly drawings, blueprints, and measurements accurately.
Operate industrial tools and equipment, including weld machines (tacking only), cutting tools, and hand tools.
Assist with function testing, hydrostatic testing of pressure components, and alignment of rotating equipment as needed.
Maintain strong communication and organizational skills while working collaboratively across departments.
Work overtime as required to meet production demands.
Maintain a professional demeanor and consistent workplace behavior.
Demonstrate knowledge of hand tools and basic production machinery.
Participate in additional training to stay current with new tools, techniques, and processes.
Maintain a strong safety-first mindset at all times.
Qualifications
3–5 years of experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial assembly environments.
Hands-on experience working with rotating equipment preferred.
Ability to operate industrial machinery safely and efficiently.
Strong understanding of measurements, tolerances, and assembly drawings.
Experience using hand tools, cutting tools, and basic shop equipment.
Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately.
Physical & Work Requirements
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
Must pass a physical and lift assessment.
Work performed in a shop/manufacturing environment.
Day shift with potential overtime.
No travel required.
Education
High School Diploma or GED required.
