Schedule: Mon–Fri (8-hr shop shifts) • OT as needed • Field work may include evenings/weekends and up to 12-hr shifts
Compensation: Competitive pay + benefits
About the Role
Hands-on technician role focused on non-cryogenic nitrogen systems—think PSA/membrane generators, high-pressure N2 skids/boosters, manifolds/regulators, purge/inerting setups, and pressure/leak testing equipment. You’ll split time between the shop and the field, diagnosing issues, executing repairs, and commissioning systems safely and efficiently.
Important: Experience must be with nitrogen equipment that is not Liquid Nitrogen (LN2/cryogenic).
What You’ll Do
Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and perform PMs on nitrogen generation/distribution equipment (PSA/membrane units, boosters, compressors), plus related pneumatic/hydraulic systems, pumps, and generators.
Disassemble/rebuild components; replace valves, regulators, gauges, sensors; perform functional and pressure tests to spec.
Build/fit tubing and hose assemblies; set up manifolds and control panels; support purging/inerting/blow-down operations.
Create parts lists/repair plans; complete service reports, work orders, and QA documentation accurately.
Safely operate shop tools, forklifts, overhead/jib cranes, and service vehicles; keep work areas organized.
Travel to client sites (onshore/offshore as needed) and collaborate with supervisors and customers on timelines and safety.
HS Diploma/GED (technical degree or apprenticeship a plus).
1+ year working with nitrogen equipment (non-cryogenic) such as PSA/membrane generators, high-pressure N2 skids/boosters, manifolds/regulators, or purge/inerting systems.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills; ability to read P&IDs and follow procedures.
Valid driver’s license with acceptable MVR; able to pass DOT/Non-DOT drug/alcohol screens.
Physically able to lift to 55 lbs., stand for long periods, and work in heat/cold, humid, noisy, or confined spaces.
Safety-first mindset; clear, professional communication.
Experience with compressors, pumps, hydraulics, and portable power.
Basic electrical/controls exposure (sensors, transmitters, solenoids).
Certifications like OSHA-10, Forklift, TWIC, or offshore safety (HUET) are a plus.
Shop: Noise, vibration, moving parts, fumes; occasional outdoor exposure.
Field: Onshore/offshore sites, day/night shifts, challenging conditions, extended hours when assigned.
