Job Description
Responsibilities

Answer high-volume incoming calls in a professional and courteous manner.

Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments.

Route calls and messages to appropriate clinical or administrative staff.

Provide general clinic information, directions, and appointment instructions.
-
Verify patient demographics and insurance information during calls.
-
Document messages accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).
-
Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA standards.

Support front desk and clinic operations as needed.

Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
-
Previous phone receptionist, call center, or medical office experience preferred.
-
Strong verbal communication and professional phone etiquette.
-
Ability to handle high call volume and multitask efficiently.
-
Basic computer skills and experience with scheduling systems or EMR.
-
Knowledge of patient confidentiality and HIPAA standards.
$11-$14 DOE
