Job Title:  Part-time Human Resources Generalist
Type: Part-time (25 hours per week, Monday - Friday)
Location: San Antonio, TX
Pay Rate: $27 per hour

 

Overview:

 

Seeking a dedicated Human Resources Generalist to join our team in San Antonio, TX. This role is pivotal in providing comprehensive HR support across various functions, enhancing operational efficiencies, and contributing to the development of our HR department. Ideal candidates are those who thrive in a dynamic environment, exhibit a strong work ethic, and demonstrate a capacity for creative problem-solving and innovation.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Administrative HR Support (50%): Oversee HRIS data entry, record auditing, filing, ad hoc reporting, and employee file maintenance.

  • Employee Recruiting & Onboarding (20%): Coordinate new hire orientation, manage pre-employment screenings, and ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws.

  • Leave of Absence Administration: Administer leave processes, maintain accurate records, and ensure seamless communication with all stakeholders.

  • Worker’s Compensation Administration: Manage injury reporting processes, ensure accurate tracking of loss time, and maintain compliance with OSHA requirements.

  • Benefits Administration: Oversee employee benefits, liaise with third-party administrators, and ensure accurate benefits data management.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • A minimum of three years' experience in human resources, with a broad understanding of HR functions and best practices.

  • Preferred certifications: SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, with a strong understanding of HRIS systems.

  • Knowledgeable in employment law, HR policies, and procedures.

  • Excellent project management, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and maintain confidentiality.
