The Operations Manager must be a mission-focused strategic operational and people leader with demonstrated experience achieving operational success aligned with the goals of the business. Must have a proven track record of building businesses and leading title and real estate professionals in relation to programs, processes and revenue generation. Primary liaison with partners and customers, and must be a strong ambassador of the company. Responsible for implementing a performance-based, and customer-centric culture, by communicating goals and expectations, providing guidance and feedback, demonstrating accountability, and by growing and developing staff.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Supervisory responsibility for a large staff. Delegates tasks, manage workflow and plans staffing requirements. Interviews candidates and makes hiring decisions, writes and conducts performance reviews, provides ongoing feedback, and manages disciplinary actions. Coaches and mentors staff; provides development opportunities. Ensures that teams and individuals understand roles and responsibilities via clear communication of goals and objectives. Meets with individual team members on performance measurements, goals and evaluations.
Keeps management up to date on the status of all operations through weekly reports. Measures monthly operating results for each assigned operation to the final budget provided by the CFO, reporting variances to management with a Plan of Action.
Aware of industry developments impacting title insurance operations and communicates to direct reports.
Ensures that all operations are in compliance with regulatory obligations.
Meets with Joint Venture partners regularly to review financial results and any operational issues.
Assures that weekly investor updates from JV Managers are sent.
Assures that Partner Meetings are properly scheduled and agents invited. Prepare and distribute Partner Meeting Agendas. Record and post Partner Meeting Minutes. Collect and manage attendee list. Lead or attend quarterly Partner Meetings as designated by management.
Resolves escalated agent issues.
Reviews Digital Closing Package Reports and Survey Feedback with an executable plan to increase adoption.
Reviews Quarterly Surveys/Feedback from Agent Surveys. Uses feedback to institute procedural changes as necessary. Compares feedback quarter over quarter.
Reviews Compliance Audits and address issues as necessary.
Reviews and completes commission reports for JV Manager and JV Teams as necessary.
Approves JV expense reports. Monitors JV overtime and approves JV Overtime requests & exceptions.
Responsible for new office setups to include: Collection of master leases provided to compliance, physical set up of offices, and creation of templates with proper accounting codes. Attend agent presentation and focus groups for business development and growth strategy.
Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Business or related field preferred; High school diploma or general education diploma (GED) with equivalent experience may be considered
Must have 4 years of professional experience in the title/real estate industry; or equivalent
Must have 3 years of industry experience as a supervisor
Understanding of financial management practices
Demonstrated resourcefulness in setting priorities while providing business solutions to obstacles and challenges while influencing outcomes in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated success in establishing priorities and meeting established deadlines and goals through multi-tasking and delegation. Business Problem solver who delivers strategic solutions
Effective development of professional relationships with customers, partners, vendors, and staff
Track record of effective development and delivery of presentations to diverse audiences
Possesses problem-solving, conflict resolution, collaboration, critical thinking, team building, and presentation skills
Results oriented and solution thinking with time management and project management skills
Displays leadership skills, leading by example, driving employee commitment through actions, and empowering employees to reach their full potential
Experience using the MS Office suite and industry software; RamQuest preferred
