SUMMARY
This position exists to support overall manufacturing plant operations and facility maintenance activities, Ability to fabricate, mechanically and electrically support equipment repairs is essential. Individual carries out routine assignments as per the maintenance department assignments and supports Shift Team Lead in daily shift maintenance support requirements as needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Troubleshoot, analyze and maintain manufacturing plant operations and facility equipment.
Install and monitor hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
Support production activities of all production lines.
Operate industrial equipment (forklifts, overhead cranes, 120 manlifts)
Perform the following welding techniques, as needed: M.I.G., Brazing and Arc
Maintain and install equipment.
Read equipment drawings and schematics.
Capable of modifying and improving equipment and fabricating ancillary parts, structural pieces, as needed
Perform all reasonably related additional duties as assigned by Maintenance Team Lead and Production Shift Team Leads, as required?
Troubleshoot, analyze, and maintain most electrical and electronic components associated with manufacturing equipment, and overhead cranes.
Perform routine test and preventative maintenance programs on manufacturing equipment.
Analyze machine failures due to electrical or electronic problems and suggest corrective actions.
Make visual inspections and use test equipment such as chart recorders, voltmeters, ammeters, and ohmmeters, to determine the nature of malfunctions.
Align, adjust, and calibrate equipment according to specifications.
Layout and install electrical or electronic systems needed for servicing existing equipment, new manufacturing equipment, and auxiliary equipment.
Write up complete parts list of items needed, gauge conduit and wire sizes for application.
Install instrument panels, counter meters, flow and pressure meters, circuit breakers, switches, solenoids, junction boxes, motors, and connect and test the systems.
Assist in all areas of maintenance for the facility.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has limited supervisory responsibilities. May be assigned projects to complete.
QUALIFICATIONS

Must be familiar with the National Electrical Code.
Must have the ability to work effectively with company personnel.
Must possess a valid driver s license.
Must have regular attendance on the job.
All requirements must be accomplished in primary business language, which is English.
Must have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret safety rules, technical procedures, or governmental
regulations.
Must have the ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical
situations.
Must have the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least five (5) years experience in Controls
troubleshooting hydraulic and / or electrical; with work experience to support functioning at a proficient
level in at least 2 of the following: Electrician, Mechanic, Millwright, Instrumentation Technician
Hydraulics Mechanic.
Welding certification

occasionally move up to 175 pounds. Able to work at heights. Specific vision abilities required by this job
include close vision, color vision and depth perception.
