Mortgage Customer Service Representative Position Available in North Central San Antonio, TX

Overview:

A reputable organization is currently looking for a Mortgage Customer Service Representative to support their Mortgage Credit Reporting department in the North Central San Antonio, TX area. This role is non-supervisory and focuses on providing top-tier customer service for residential mortgage credit reporting processes among other services. The ideal candidate is committed to maintaining high service standards, ensuring timely resolution of inquiries and disputes, and contributing positively to the team.

Position Details:

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

  • Compensation: $16 per hour

  • Location: North Central San Antonio, TX


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure a 24-hour turnaround time for all inquiries and service requests.

  2. Accurately verify and resolve disputed information, including trade or rental details.

  3. Promptly input creditor responses and update supplemented information within 10 working days.

  4. Field questions from both clients and consumers regarding credit issues, ensuring clarity and resolution.

  5. Inform clients about the status of pending reports, identifying and addressing any file problems.

  6. Update and transmit complete reports to clients, while also maintaining accurate customer records.

  7. Resolve product or service-related problems by identifying the issue, selecting and explaining the best solution, and ensuring satisfactory resolution.

  8. Suggest potential new products or services based on customer feedback and needs analysis.

  9. Prepare and analyze product or service reports to enhance customer satisfaction.

  10. Achieve team objectives and contribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.

  11. Maintain punctuality and consistent attendance.




Qualifications:




  • High school diploma or GED.

  • Proficiency with PCs and a typing speed of 40-50 wpm.

  • Strong skills in customer service, problem-solving, and conflict resolution.

  • Excellent communication, multitasking, and professional demeanor.

  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to constructive feedback.
