Job Description


Responsibilities

  • Greeting patients

  • Scheduling appointments and follow-ups, and keeping the appointment calendar up to date

  • Answering phone calls and emails from patients, and answering their questions

  • Processing payments from patients using medical software

  • Helping patients fill out forms and answering their questions

  • Filing medical records and other documents, and using Electronic Health Records (EHR) to make changes to patient details

  • Keeping the front desk, waiting area, and office clean and organized

  • Contacting insurance companies and liaising with Medicare and private health funds

  • Being a source of comfort for patients who are distressed or experiencing an emergency

  • Monitoring and ordering stationery and clinical supplies

  • Working with other medical departments

  • Maintaining information confidentiality at all times


Requirements

  • Medical Front Desk Experience

  • Reliable Transportation

  • Pass Background Check

  • Pass UA Drug Screen
