MARKETING COORDINATOR


Job Description Summary:
The purpose of this position is to facilitate the employment of students and graduates, recruit new students, market and promote the programs and maintain employment information on current and former students
Minimum Qualifications
Associates Degree or two years experience in a closely related field, motivated self-starter, strong organizational skills and strong communication skills
Skilled in Word, Excel and PowerPoint programs
Operate within company database
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor s Degree in a related field
Marketing/Social Media Marketing Experience
Public speaking/presentation experience
Hours and Working Conditions:
Travel throughout the area is required. Working hours may vary but will include some evenings and weekends
Staff Support:
Become a certified NCCER Assessment Coordinator
Work reception desk/assessment lab and enter assessment data if needed
Answer incoming and transfer calls, assist customers, and take payments
Provide timely and accurate information to management, accounting, instructors and other appropriate parties
Troubleshooting and miscellaneous
Other duties as assigned by management

Primary Job Duties:
Employment Liaison
Works with current students and graduates to assist them with finding employment in their craft
Maintains strong relationships with the hiring officers (Human Resources personnel) of contractors, plants (owners), and other businesses that employ our graduates to obtain job postings and assist our students/graduates with creating resumes and setting up interviews
Works with all outside partners to learn of upcoming projects that may employ our students/graduates
Interacts with agencies, partners, and research sources to detect and report any changes in employer requirements, job composition, etc
Maintain updated Employment Bulletin Board
Marketing and Recruitment
  • Be present at Career Fairs, Career Days, Job Fairs, School Presentations etc.
  • Works closely with the President, Director of Education, and Director of Facilities to schedule rooms, meetings, the availability of printed materials, etc., as needed to support the recruitment and marketing efforts
  • Works with the President, Director of Education, Director of Facilities, and Controller to assist with the Marketing through social media, website, printed materials, and the purchasing of promotional items
  • Works with personnel to assist students with enrolling and completing their respective programs
Records Maintenance
  • Maintains a data base of employment information on our graduates and former students
  • Works with Workforce Solutions of the Coastal Bend to maintain and verify information in the data base
  • Maintain and submit required data to Workforce Solutions
