Manufacturing Production Supervisor

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 DOE
Hire, train, develop, engage as well as motivate and drive accountability of the Direct Labor (DL) workforce while driving continuous
improvement (mistake proofing, lean manufacturing strategies, FTQ), positive and safe working environment, and operational excellence
(quality, cost and delivery).
Utilize metrics to make sure associates are in the correct production position(s), optimize operational efficiency; reduce scrap loss, etc.
Work with Operations and Procurement to develop production schedules based on committed financial goals, customer commitments and
validated by load/capacity analysis.
Actively supervise shift and/or areas of manufacturing, promoting a positive environment that ensures teamwork and accountability within
the manufacturing area
Ensure assemblers are adequately trained and certified to perform their jobs in a Safety 1st work place environment.
Consult with Engineering in cases where actual practices don t match instructions. Escalate issues if they are not quickly resolved
Ensure and model uncompromising integrity at all times by behaving ethically in all situations and reports or challenges unethical behavior
Enhance and influence support of Diversity and Inclusion.
Review and approve timekeeping system entries and vacation requests.
Ability to achieve objectives in a matrix work environment and work effectively with multiple functions (such as Supply Chain, Process
Engineering, Continuous Improvement, Quality, etc.).
Maintain a clear understanding of customer expectations for accuracy, quality and timelessness and help develop methods for meeting or
exceeding those expectations.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 3-year proven shop floor operations leadership / supervisory experience in Electronic Manufacturing environment. Preferred
Associate Technical degree or higher.
Demonstrated ability to interact with employees in all levels in a professional, engaging, professional and constructive manner.
Good organizational and visual management skills.
Personal computer skills in a variety of software programs such as MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, inventory management system,
and ERP system that support the manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated ability to lead organizational changes.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to make sound business decisions
Strong organizational interpersonal skills and problem-solving skills.
Practical understanding of workplace 5S and other Lean manufacturing principles
Proven track record leading teams to successful product delivery
Willingness to raise standards each year to drive organizational excellence
Ability to make sound and timely judgments in ambiguous environment
Track record of improving team performance
Able to work multiple shifts, as needed.
