Job Description
Immediate opportunity for a Management Information Systems Technician located in downtown San Antonio. This is currently a temporary position that will last 3-6 months but could be extended. Schedule is Monday Friday from 8: 00am to 5: 00pm, with a starting pay of $16.00 - $18.00 hourly.

Primary Duties:
- System Support

- Serves as liaison between the contractor staff and state technical assistance department.
- Interprets policies as they apply to TWIST and WIT operating procedures and program reporting requirements.
- Provides technical assistance: to contractors and agency staff in the operation of TWIST and WIT, to contractors in areas that affect customer data entry procedures, and to contractors and agency staff in program reporting procedures.
- Identifies training needs and submits requests for training for agency or contractor staff.
- Monitors the security of the TWIST and WIT programs.
- Serves as liaison between the contractor staff and state technical assistance department.
- Reporting Support

- Operates various data processing programs to facilitate the collection of information and generate statistical, ad hoc, and evaluation reports.
- Collects and analyzes data, develops reports, and evaluates program performance.
- Operates various data processing programs to facilitate the collection of information and generate statistical, ad hoc, and evaluation reports.
- Staff Support

- Provides relief for the front desk receptionist on occasion and assists the MIS Administrator with special projects.

Minimum Qualifications:
- HS Diploma or GED
- Previous technical training and/or certification in data systems.
- Minimum of 1-3 years in system administration preferred.
