Lead Master Electrician
Job Description
Location: Katy, TX
Travel Required: Frequent travel throughout the U.S.
LK Jordan is seeking an experienced Lead Master Electrician to join a growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on electrical leader with extensive industrial experience who enjoys troubleshooting, leading crews, and traveling to customer sites across the country.
Responsibilities
- Travel to customer sites throughout the U.S. to troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical systems.
- Diagnose and resolve issues involving industrial controls, circuits, motors, and plant equipment.
- Lead and supervise electricians and subcontractors while ensuring work is completed safely and meets quality standards.
- Assist with Bill of Materials (BOM) creation and review of electrical equipment and components.
- Assist with conduit layout and routing.
- Support equipment startup, commissioning, and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT).
- Review, inspect, and validate electrical work performed in the field.
- Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams and field personnel.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations, and company procedures.
- Document troubleshooting activities, repairs, and field service reports.
- 10+ years of industrial electrical troubleshooting experience.
- 5+ years of experience leading or supervising electricians and subcontractors.
- Experience with industrial controls, circuits, motors, and electrical systems.
- Experience with Emerson Rosemount transmitters is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
- Strong troubleshooting, leadership, and communication skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
