Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and team-oriented Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join a dedicated healthcare team supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.
Responsibilities to include but limited to:
• Implement and evaluate nursing care based on established individualized program plans
• Monitor and document vital signs, weight charts, immunization records, and general health indicators
• Review and maintain all medical and health-related records to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance
• Respond to medical concerns and participate in emergency care as needed
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, with appropriate documentation
• Support ongoing communication with families, caregivers, physicians, and team members regarding an individual’s condition
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to provide clinical support after hours
• Use EMR systems and nursing tools
To be considered, the following is required:
• Current LVN license in the State of Texas
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in an HCS (Home and Community-based Services) setting
• Ability to work 9-10 hour days and a rotating on call schedule
Starting pay of $20-$23.00 an hour, depending on experience.
