Installation/Service Technician - Security
Schertz, TX 78154
Starting pay is $13.00 - $25.00 hourly DOE, with a typical schedule of Monday Friday, from 8: 00am 5: 00pm.
Locate and identify the source of problems on existing equipment installations.
Assess site conditions and identify sale, and proper installation methods on new, and upgrade sites.
To repair, replace, and or adjust equipment on sites as required and document these changes according to company protocol.
To make and/or test connections including any required adjustments.
To assess job requirements and ensure that all materials required are available and with the installer/service tech prior to departing for a job or service request.
To report, in writing, any supplier deficiencies and/or quality issues, and or job description deficiencies to ensure that they can be corrected and eliminated.
To ensure that all job sites are maintained and kept in a tidy and safe condition, and that, upon departure sites are clean, tidy and that all tools, wiring, and unused equipment have been picked up.
To ensure that all equipment whether during loading/unloading, driving, or at a site are protected from damage.
To participate in the training and upgrading of other Technicians and Installers as and when requested to do so.
To complete all documentation on jobs, including, redlining drawings in an accurate, thorough and timely manner as may be directed by the Supervisor from time to time.
Minimum of 2 years of experience with Security or Fire Alarm installations in a commercial or residential environment.
Ability to read, understand, and work from electrical schematic drawings and shop drawing.
Must have own tools.
Able to pass a national background and drug screen.
