Job Description

Works with the Branch Manager and Account Rep Team to recognize and cultivate potential sales leads from existing and prospective customers.
Responds to all incoming customer requests via telephone or email.
Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of our products and services and how they can benefit our customers.
Process and maintain customer orders, as well as vendor purchase orders.
Maintain a strong customer relationship after the sale through follow up meetings or phone calls.
Develop clear communication channels for new and existing customers.
Identify customer product needs and create sales quotes/orders.
Develop clear and effective written proposals based on customer requests.
Partner with the Regional Director of Sales and Account Rep Teams regarding customer account activity, invoicing requirements, and customer feedback on products and services.
Partners with clients, vendors, Credit and A/R to quickly resolve customer service issues.

1. Pipe, valve, and fitting experience a plus, but not required.
2. Self-starting personality.
3. Ability to learn, present and support multiple product lines.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Business Central or other customer relationship management (CRM) or enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
5. Strong time management, organization, and ability to multitask.
6. Ability to interact with decision makers at all levels of an organization.
7. Analytical and problem-solving skills.
8. Effective verbal and written communications skills.
9. Skilled at handling large volumes of phones calls and emails.
10. Knowledge of general safety skills.
11. Ability to travel (10% or less)
