NORTHWEST MANUFACTURER LOOKING FOR A QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTOR TO JOIN THEIR TEAM!
TEMP TO HIRE
$17/19/hr
630A-300P OVERTIME AND WEEKENDS AS NEEDED ***THEY ARE CURRENTLY WORKING 10-12 HR SHIFTS RIGHT NOW
Growing Houston, TX based manufacturer of aftermarket and OEM truck accessories is seeking a Quality Control Technician that will be responsible for 100% final inspection of all products, making sure units are built according to production requirements and established quality standards. Specific job functions include, but are not limited to, learning and performing all skills and tasks required to safely inspect assembled units, and components that consistently meet and exceed the highest standards for quality. The Quality Control Technician must work cooperatively with his/her co-workers, team leaders, and supervisor for corrective actions.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for monitoring and maintaining the Quality of Parts on the line.
Responsible for examining parts to ensure they meet quality specifications.
Determine whether parts need to be reworked or scrapped.
Communicate and/or coordinate corrective actions with Team Leads and/or Supervisor.
Complete, and submit to Production Department, required Quality documentation
Assist with Quality audits, continuous improvement, and corrective action plans as necessary.
Perform other duties and/or assist with special projects as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS/ QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Minimum of 2 years of combined quality and production experience within a manufacturing environment
Aptitude for quality
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
