LK Jordan is seeking an experienced Hydraulic Technician to join our client’s growing team near the Heights area of Houston.
This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically inclined professional who is skilled in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining complex hydraulic systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Disassemble and repair hydraulic pumps, motors, cylinders, and components
Troubleshoot and diagnose system malfunctions using schematics and technical drawings
Perform preventative and scheduled maintenance to optimize equipment performance
Install and assemble new hydraulic systems, including hoses, pipes, and cylinders
Modify or fabricate hydraulic components as needed
Operate hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and measuring instruments
Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
High school diploma or GED required
Vocational training or certification in hydraulics or fluid power preferred
Previous experience in hydraulic repair, maintenance, or fabrication
Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Welding or electrical assembly experience is a plus
IFPS certification is a bonus
