Job Description

Are you a Heavy Equipment Operator who enjoys traveling? LKJ Has an excellent opportunity for you!

Job Title: Construction Equipment Operator (Temp to Hire)

Location: Conroe, TX

Hours: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 10-12 hours a day available for Saturdays when needed

Travel: 80% travel all over the country

Requirements:

Valid driver's license (DL) and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
Must be willing to be subject to a preliminary background and drug screen
Ability to operate Excavators (50,000 pounds) and Dozers (100 HP or more CAT 315 or bigger)

Duties:

Report any unsafe conditions or acts
Ability to lift over 40 lbs continuously
Work in confined spaces and at heights
Travel out of town as necessary
Work on and/or near water
Perform construction tasks including hand digging, building forms, installation of piping (PVC/HDPE), hand demolition, and other construction activities

Qualifications:

40-Hour HazWoper certification is a plus
TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Card) is a plus
