Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at a facility providing care for individuals with developmental disabilities. The RN will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care, developing and implementing care plans, evaluating health outcomes, and reviewing medical/health records to ensure optimal care and compliance. This position requires the ability be available for on-call duties on a rotating basis.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct nursing care to individuals with developmental disabilities in accordance with established standards and regulations.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans tailored to each individual’s needs.
• Review, maintain, and update medical and health records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor and assess health status, administer medications, and coordinate necessary medical treatments.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate interventions.
• Participate in on-call rotation to provide after-hours support.
Requirements:
• Active RN license in Texas.
• Degree from an accredited school of nursing.
• Healthcare (HCS) experience required.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Strong assessment, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness and ability to participate in rotating on-call schedule.
Pay is between $35 - $40
