Job Description
LK Jordan is seeking a Grinder/Laborer for a manufacturing company in the Houston area. This is a great opportunity for someone with metal fabrication or manufacturing experience who is comfortable using hand grinders and power tools in a fast-paced shop environment.
Responsibilities
- Grind, deburr, and smooth metal parts using hand grinders and other power tools.
- Remove sharp edges, excess material, and surface imperfections.
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Assist with material handling and general shop labor as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Previous grinding experience is required.
- Experience using hand grinders, sanders, or other metal finishing tools.
- Manufacturing or fabrication experience preferred.
- Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic measurements.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
- Dependable with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
